Community Spotlight: Holiday Wrap-Up
Thanks for Making the Season Bright for Local Foster Children!
In mid-December, we wrapped up our Christmas Tag programs in our financial services centers. We partnered with foster child programs in Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook, Newport, and Lincoln Counties to collect donations of gifts and cash.
For Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties, we committed to fulfill the wish lists for all 188 children in foster care. Once tags were returned from community shoppers, our staff volunteers used donated funds to complete every remaining tag with needed items. Corby the Bear, team mascot for the Cowlitz Black Bears, even showed up to help our volunteers shop!
