Another Incredible Mural – This Time in Longview!
Thanks to community improvement funds from Visa, we had the opportunity to work with The Broad Strokes Project of Longview to commission a mural on the building next to our Main location at 822 Commerce Ave in Longview. The Denver-based artist, John Hastings created the art, entitled “Season Stir.” He completed the mural July 12.
“I poured some serious time into this piece,” said John, “and created something I’m passionate about… native Washington flowers, leaves, and ferns swirl around flowing in the seasonal energy while native cranes and herons fly though the moody clouds. The background represents the moodiness of Pacific Northwest weather patterns while the back sky and sun are solid and true showcasing how nice it can be on a sunny day. The playful mix between the two weather patterns is what creates the beautiful energy for me.”
