Digital Banking Account Deletion Policy

  1. Account Deletion Process: To request deletion of your digital banking account, please visit a Fibre Federal Credit Union location or call 1-800-205-7872 to speak with a representative. Within 3 business days of receipt of your request, your profile will be disabled and within 7 business days your profile will be deleted.
  2. Permanent Deletion: Once your digital banking account is deleted, all associated data, including but not limited to your profile information, settings, preferences, and any other content linked to your digital banking profile will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
  3. Irreversible Loss of Access: After deletion, you will no longer be able to access your digital banking account/profile or recover any previously stored information. Any ongoing transactions such as bill payments or repetitive transfers will be canceled immediately.  You should cancel recurring or scheduled transfers and bill pay transactions before making your request.
  4. Data Retention: Deleting your digital banking profile does not affect your share or loan accounts.  We will retain all share and loan account data in accordance with our record retention policy and applicable law.
  5. Third-Party Services: If you’ve linked your digital banking account with any third-party services or platforms, please ensure to manage your account and data separately with those providers, as deleting your account with us may not automatically remove or delete your data on external services.
